Smoked Sausage Potato Chowder RecipeSmoked Sausage Potato Chowder Recipe; Frugal, Hearty and Delicious!

I needed to find creative ways to use all the smoked sausage I bought using  coupons. I came up with this Smoked Sausage Potato Chowder recipe which was a big hit with the guys. They liked it so much we didn’t even have leftovers. It’s just bursting with good flavor. Serve it in smaller portions as an appetizer or dish it up as the main course! It is great served with a side salad and your favorite bread or rolls. (Check out this Pizza Dough Garlic Rolls recipe that would go great with this!)

This hearty Smoked Sausage Potato Chowder Recipe is a delicious way to stretch your budget. Another great perk to this recipe is that it can really be made with whatever meat you have handy such as ham, salt pork, or even chicken. It’s also great with a can of clams as clam chowder. So whatever you have purchased at a good price would work. I could even see it as a steak and potato chowder or ham and corn. As with all recipes the possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination.
