When I froth milk in a jar, I usually use plain milk, but since we are always getting good creamer coupons and deals I decided to try it with that too. It worked out well. I used a one-pint canning jar, but any jar of a comparable size will  work.

  • Pour desired amount of milk or creamer into a small jar, filling no more than half full.
  • Now shake, shake, shake your booty along with the jar of milk until it is nice and foamy.
  • Remove the lid from the jar and microwave on full power for about 30 seconds.
  • If desired add sugar or sweetener to the cup first, then the warm milk foam.
  • Add your coffee.

I used this method and then ran a cup of coffee into the cup with a Keurig machine, but it works fine if you add from your coffee pot.

Of course, you can always use a fancy latte machine if you have one. But for those who don’t have one, don’t want one, or just don’t want to get it out and fool with it … now you know how to Froth Milk in a Jar. You can’t get much easier than this!
