Not Many Surfing Waves on Day 12 of Our Costa Rica Vacation in Santa Teresa
The waves were a little too small for Tommy to go surfing while we were on the beach on day 12 of our Costa Rica vacation in Santa Teresa. We got an early start on the beach with Dylan’s surfing lessons. Even he was hoping for a little bigger waves. Obviously from the picture he wasn’t very challenged with his arms crossed surfing to shore.
We spent mid-day taking a zipline tour at Mal Pais Canopy Tours. That was awesome! This is our favorite zipline on the Nicoya peninsula. Although the one in Montezuma is pretty cool, it involves a ton of steps and hiking throughout the trip. The zipline in Mal Pais is closer to Santa Teresa and is continuous lines so it’s much less work! Mal Pais Canopy Tours also gives us a 20% discount with our Pollo Pass. We hope to have pictures from that soon, but we haven’t gone through the videos yet.
We spent the second half of the day on the beach until after sunset. We made plenty of new dog friends. You definitely have to be dog friendly here. There are dogs everywhere in Santa Teresa. Whether you’re on the beach, sitting in a hammock at your villa, or eating at a local restaurant, a dog is always nearby.
The boys enjoyed a friendly game of football on the beach as we watched the sun go down to close out day 12 of our Costa Rica vacation in Santa Teresa. The sunset was gorgeous as always. Don’t forget to see our sunset pictures for the previous 11 days!
