Saving Money, Surfing, and Sunset on Day 10 of Our Costa Rica Beach Vacation
We can’t believe it’s been 10 days into our Costa Rica beach vacation already. It seems like every gorgeous sunset in Santa Teresa gets here way too quickly. You can see the other gorgeous sunset posts here if you missed them.
We started out day 10 of our Costa Rica beach vacation on the beach sipping our morning coffee before the boys woke up. Everyone was up fairly early to hit the beach with either a surf board or boogy board.
Our youngest has continued to be very excited about his daily surfing lesson with John. We’re thankful that Mick from Mongrel Surf sent him. He’s been so great teaching and motivating our little guy. He also comes right to our villa at Villas Santa Teresa (our favorite place to stay) and gets him so we don’t have to lug a surf board anywhere to meet him.
We took a little trip “downtown” to check out some of the new restaurants and shops and we stopped in to Pronto to check out the menu. Pronto is a little Italian place in Santa Teresa Costa Rica owned by Chef Giuseppe Morisco.
We spoke with Giuseppe a little about his experience on Masterchef and his new restaurant. We enjoyed our visit with him and found him to be very friendly. We visited him later in the evening too. Pronto participates in the Pollo Pass discount program so after sunset we went back for some dinner and our free drinks! (see, even on vacation we are saving money with the Pollo Pass discounts!)
Of course, we were back on the beach for sunset. Dylan tried a little solo surfing but pretty much just practiced paddling through white water. It was a bit rough for the surf board for him alone. He would have had a blast with the boogy board but he’s set on being able to do tricks on the board before we leave so he insisted on the surf board. What a trooper! That’s it for day 10 of our Costa Rica Beach Vacation in Santa Teresa. See you tomorrow!
