This Cinnamon Roll Casserole recipe is great as an alternative to French toast for breakfast, cool with a cup of coffee in the morning or as a warm dessert alone or with vanilla ice cream. It’s like bread pudding, French toast and cinnamon rolls  all  wrapped in one  delicious  gooey dish.

Cinnamon Roll Casserole Recipe

  • 2 Cans Cinnamon Rolls, approximately  17 oz, refrigerated
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 ½ cup pecan pieces (optional
  • ¼ cup raisins (optional)

Steps to make Cinnamon Roll Casserole Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • While oven is preheating add butter to 13×9 inch glass baking dish or pan and sit it in the oven until butter is melted.
  • Open Cinnamon Rolls, separate and cut each roll into 8 pieces.
  • Set icing aside.
  • Whisk Cream, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon until mixed well in a medium sized bowl.

Cinnamon Roll Casserole Recipe

  • Add the cut up cinnamon rolls to the baking dish with the melted butter.
  • Pour Cream Mixture evenly over the roll pieces.
  • Sprinkle pecan pieces and raisins (if used) evenly over the top.
  • Drizzle Maple Syrup over entire casserole.

  • Bake  for 25  to 30 minutes until set and golden  brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow  to cool for about 15 minutes.

  • Soften icing in Microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Drizzle reserved  icing evenly on top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
